Lesson 8-14: Create An Inventory Valuation Detail Report – In Lesson 8-10, I showed you how to create an Inventory Valuation Summary Report. In this tutorial you will learn how to create an Inventory Valuation Detailed Report. The difference between the two reports is that the detailed report will display every transaction for the related inventory item. Also, in the summary report you cannot remove the default columns or add any new columns to be filtered. However, in the detailed report, you can add or remove any column that you chose to be displayed in the report. To create an Inventory Valuation Detail Report, perform the steps in the video below:
Here is a summary of the steps that were performed in the video:
1. Click the Reports menu, then go to Inventory > Inventory Valuation Detail.
2. If you want to view inventory activity for a particular period, change the date located immediately above the report.
3. To customize the report, click the Customize Report button located on the left side of the report. You can choose which columns to display for the report by selecting or deselecting any field you choose.
4. After you have chosen the columns that you want to be displayed, click OK at the bottom right.
